Girls and Boys Recreational Philosophy:
Allendale Gymnastics Center wants all of its programs to share the same philosophy and that is that learning must be fun! Kids are only kids for a short period of time and it is important for them to learn that hard work can be exciting and exhilaration and gymnastics is the perfect tool to teach them that. While learning high quality gymnastics through our carefully designed lesson plans, our creative warm up games, unique themes, and encouraging staff will provide a fun and uplifting environment for every child.

Recreational Program:
AGC’s recreational program is divided into 6 progressive levels. Each individual level has 35-40 skills on all four of the gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam, and floor. Every coach tracks the progress of the gymnasts and once a gymnast has mastered the majority of the skills, he/she will move up to the next level. We move the gymnasts through our levels by ability and not by age. They can progress through the six levels as quickly or as slowly as they are able to master the skills.
